Повестка дня: Доклад на тему «Glass as a Nanomaterial: Its Composition, Processing and Mechanical Performance»
Докладчик: профессор Джастин Гао, директор по исследованиям Corning Incorporated.
Аннотация доклада:
The presentation is focused on glass as a nanomaterial where nano-scale material composition and structure are designed with specific processing technology to achieve the desired performance of the material. Special discussion are given on Corning’s fusion draw glass manufacturing technology and ion-exchange technology to enhance the mechanical performance and damage tolerance of glasses. Effort on modeling and experimentation to develop damage resistant glass, and fracture mechanics of coated glass will also be discussed.
